Carl and Clara met at College. Carl was President of So. West District 4-H Club. He had a janitor job in the Extension Office for 18 months and was looking through leadership records (for officers) when he ran across a picture of Clara and thought - "pretty good; "think I'll marry her". First date was a tennis game. Clara had won south west district tennis championship in high school. Took 7 years for them to tie the knot.
