Daniel Ross Senior (1740 - 1822) of Henry County, Virginia

 

The Daniel ROSS Family in Captain Owen Rubel's Militia District, Henry County, Virginia

DANIEL ROSS, son of JOHN and SARAH ROSS, was born November 09, 1740 in Cromarty, Ross & Cromarty, Scotland, and died 1822 in Cooper County, Missouri.  He married ELIZABETH "BETTY" GARTH 1761 in Louisa County, (now Albermarle) Virginia, daughter of JOHN GARTH.  She was born 1747 in Trinity, Louisa County, Virginia, and died 1807 in New Castle, Henry County, Virginia.
Note: Daniel Ross birth place, Cromarty is a town in Highland, Scotland. It is in the historic county of Ross and Cromarty.

The thirteen children of DANIEL ROSS and ELIZABETH GARTH are:

01.  JOHN ROSS, was born about 1761 in Louisa County, Virginia, and died before November 1822.

02.  WILLIAM ROSS was born about 1763 in Louisa County, Virginia.
