On 20 June 1861 both Henry Franklin King and Berry H. King enlisted in the Confederate Army, Arkansas 3rd Infantry, Company E at Campagnolle Post Office in Union County near ElDorado and Calion Lake in Union County Arkansas. As of 6 July, 1861 the King brothers and their regiment were located in Lynchburg, Virginia, and remained in that area for the remainder of the Civil War. Their Civil War Records record that both were in the Richmond Confederate Hospital (General Hospital, Howard's Grove) pm 27 May 1864 just following the operations on the line of the North Anna River, Virginia May 22-26, 1864. On July 10 they were transferred from the hospital to Lynchburg, Virginia. Another record indicates that Henry Franklin King was still in Howards Grove Hospital as of 8 Oct 1864. There was no W. King in the Arkansas 3rd Infantry, Company E and the name should have been Henry F. King. Documents for Henry Franklin King for the duration of the Civil War are attached. Berry H. ...
