Civil War - Battle of Antietam

Served in the Civil War.

A physician in Sedalia, Mo.

He enlisted from Bath, Sept 23, 1862 in Co. I, 5th NH volunteers as a musician; wounded, Sept 17, 1862 at Antietam; re-enlisted Jan 1, 1864, and credited to Lisbon, appointed Sergent and first lieutent, Co. C, Oct 28 Alexandria VA

Dr. Bronson entered the Civil War as a Bugler and at the end of the war, was First Lieut. in charge of his company. He belonged to the 5th New Hampshire Vol. Infantry, Company C throughout the entire war. He was wounded in the battle of Antietam.
