Levi Carver (1825 - 1863) of Henderson County, Texas

LEVI3 CARVER (JOHN2, WILLIAM SR.1) was born 1825 in Person County, North Carolina (Source: U.S. Census: 1850;Pickens County, Southern Township, Dwelling #1572, pp118A), and died December 19, 1863 in Hemstead at Camp Grove, Henderson County, Texas (Source: Terrell's Texas Calvalry by John W. Spencer &.). He married DORCAS LUCINDA LOVE September 13, 1848 in Pickens County, Alabama, daughter of JOHN LOVE and ELIZA MCDOWELL. She was born January 26, 1826 in Alabama (Source: Texas Widow's Confederate Pension Record, A6019.), and died March 24, 1918 in Coldspring, San Jacinto County, Texas.
